A Diplomate of Acupuncture is an acupuncturist who is certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM®). University of Cincinnati, College of Arts and Sciences. Master thesis completed on an ethnographic population study researching how women decide to use herbal medicine.

MMAP-Maya Mountains Archaeological Project, sponsored by the National Geographic Society. Participated in archaeological and biological research on the intial MMAP research team in the Maya Mountains of Belize, Central America in 1992. Returned in 1994 and 1996 for additional research opportunities.
